As well as providing tree services, Timmins Tree Surgery Ltd are dedicated to the preservation and management of trees reinforced by Liam Timmins who holds an MSc in Urban Planning with Green Infrastructure. Trees are what we are all about, we thrive on ensuring that we remain compliant with all industry standards and all the relevant City and Guilds NPTC (National Proficiency Test Council) for undertaking all tree surgery services, tree works, vegetation management, planting, hedge cutting and chipping operations.

Timmins Tree Surgery Ltd is fully insured with a £5 m public and £10 m employer liability policy. In addition to this, all tree work is carried out in accordance with BS3998 (2010) and complies with current best practices for arboricultural works.

Timmins Tree Surgery Ltd is able to serve the whole of the North East from its base on the outskirts of Durham City.

This means we can undertake works across a large geographical area which includes Durham, Gateshead, Sunderland, Newcastle upon Tyne, Darlington, Morpeth, Stockton on Tees and Alnwick.

Liam has been involved with the arboricultural industry for as long as he can remember and is passionate about all things urban planning, green infrastructure and trees. Having both a background in town planning and tree management, Liam can advise you on tree care management in conservation areas or help you manage protected trees on your property.

Stan Timmins has been involved with the horticultural and arboricultural industry for over 60 years. He has been a Fellow of the Arboricultural Association for over 45 years, so is a true expert when it comes to trees and tree care.
